17 Mar Milan: the international fairs of April
Milan is the focal point of the most important international fairs. In fact every year, thousands of businessmen and professionals from all over the world visit Milan in order to participate at these internationals events.
April will be particularly rich in exhibitions, among which there are the Borsa Internazionale del Turismo, the Salone del Mobile and the Technology Hub. Let’s see together where and when these importants events will take place.
The BIT, Borsa Internazionale del Turismo, is an international event that brings together the tour operators, professionals, the press and the tourism enthusiasts coming from all over the world. The exhibition is organized by Fiera Milano since 1980 and aims to put together the experts of the touristic sector coming from different places and different product sectors.
The 2017 edition will take place from 2 to 4 April and will be innovative even from a logistic point of view: in fact, the event will take place at the same time in Fieramilanocity and MiCo. In addition to the four traditional sectors, which are Leisure, Luxury, MICE and Destination Sport, 4 new thematic areas will be added for the 2017 edition: A Bit of Taste (food and wine), Be Tech (digital), Bit4Job (recruiting) and I Love Wedding (dedicated to honeymoons).
The Salone Internazionale del Mobile has been at the center of the world's attention for 56 editions. This event will take place synergically with the Salone Internazionale del Complemento D’Arredo, Euroluce, Workplace 3.0 and Salone Satellite.
For the fair, that will take place from April 4 to 9 at Rho Fiera Milano, more than 300.000 guests are expected from at least 165 countries. The Salone Internazionale del Mobile will be divided into three different stylistic frames that goes from the Classical style to the modern Design, till the xLux, where luxury will be the protagonist.
Among the collateral events that usually take place around the Salone Internazionale del Mobile, we remind you the famous Fuorisalone, during which this year the Isola Design District will debuts in the most contemporary district of the city, and where 100 emerging designers, local artisans and international brands will take part at the first edition.
The Technology Hub represents another important appointment in the city of Milan. The event is dedicated to the new technologies, presenting a series of new special initiatives, workshops, conferences, case histories, meetings among workers of the sector.
The fair dedicated to the technology industry will take place from April 20 to 22 at MiCo Milano Congressi, with the purpose of creating a cross connection among all the actors of technology world and to support the technological progress in different areas of interest, sustaining the growth of new business opportunities.
