20 Apr Milano Design Week: the Salone del Mobile

Once again the Salone del Mobile has come back in Milan: till Sunday 22 April, the pavillions of Rho Fiera Milano will host what can be considered the main event in the design and furnishing field.

Milan  shows its excellence, hosting more than 2.000 exhibitors and attracting more than 300.000 visitors coming from 165 Countries.

Together with the Salone Internazionale del Mobile there will be the International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition and the biennial  EuroCucina/FTK (Technology For the Kitchen) and International Bathroom Exhibition.

The Salone brings in Milan the main furnishing and design trends, confirming the primacy of our city as undiscussed capital of this field.

The city becomes alive with the Fuorisalone, a great collective event organized by the city districts, with whole city areas dedicated to temporary exhibitions.

The event of Fuorisalone are spread in the city, but they are concentrated within some strategic areas: Brera Design District, Tortona District and Ventura District.

Exclusive parties, installations, exhibitions and food initiatives: Milan celebrates with about 1000 events.

This evening do not miss the Brera Design Night and toast till late night walking in the picturesque roads of the district and peeking at the ateliers and the showrooms which will remain open for this special event.

Remaining in the Brera district you will be able to admire a completely pink tram, reinterpreted by the designer Cristina Celestino and transformed into an ideal “ Cinema Corallo”, becoming a moving screening room.
